BG Group NQ — the parent company of NQ Modular Projects — has been building across North Queensland since 1999, earning a strong reputation for delivering top-quality work. With over 25 years of experience in Townsville and regional Queensland, we have the expertise to consistently deliver projects on time and on budget. Our team understand the unique challenges of planning and executing a project in regional and remote areas.
BG Group NQ is now applying the same commitment to quality and precision to modular homes. As a locally owned and operated business based in Townsville, we have a deep understanding of the unique needs of North Queensland and how we can best overcome them.

What we offer
Our talented team of draftsmen have developed a full range of pre-engineered designs including amenity blocks, offices, bunk houses and communal kitchen spaces.
NQ Modular Projects are proud to use only the best quality products to ensure that our buildings are built to last. We have meticulously planned and tested a huge range of products to ensure that our buildings can handle the wear and tear of life in regional Queensland with as little maintenance and up-keep as possible. We frame all of our modules using locally manufactured light gauge steel framing, making them:
- Light weight
- Millimeter accurate
- Won’t twist or warp
- Termite resistant
NQ Modular Projects value quality and safety as our top priority. We are proud to hold ISO accreditation and have developed strict policies and procedures to ensure our staff get home safely every day. We actively look for opportunities to improve these measures whenever possible. As locals ourselves, we prioritise working with local suppliers, with over 90% of our materials historically sourced from within the region
